What is Kava?

A Pacific root with a long tradition

Kava is made from the roots of Piper methysticum, a plant grown across the South Pacific and traditionally prepared by kneading ground root in water.

For generations, kava has been used in welcome ceremonies, village gatherings, diplomacy, and slow social conversation. Today, modern kava drinkers still value that ritual: a bowl prepared with care, shared deliberately, and chosen for its character, from bright and heady to heavy and relaxing.

The Pacific's Best Kept Secret

While Others Sought Gold, Cook Found Something More Valuable

In 1773, Captain James Cook navigated the HMS Resolution to the Friendly Islands of Polynesia. There, he and his crew became the first Europeans to officially document the ceremonial drink of the Pacific Kings.

While others sought gold, Cook found something more valuable: a root that brought peace, clarity, and connection. We bring you that same Noble tradition today.
